This is a mix I did a while ago from start to finish in 1 hour for the People’s Remix Competition over at OCR, it got first place but hardly anyone submitted so whatever.
Nothing impressive, just a fun little tune from a game I’ve never played.
I imagine a teddy bear having a day out on the town, taking a nice stroll downtown, past all the nice shops, having a blast.

One of my other passions is making midi files of my favourite trance songs. Although I spend much of my time and energy transcribing these midis by ear, they are still completely copyright their respective owners, and none of the rights of any of these files are reserved by me or any collaborator.
Having said that, I would still appreciate if no one hosted these midi files anywhere else (including adding them to another midi or trance midi archive or collection), under modified or unmodified filenames, even if they would still like to credit me as the transcriber.
In other words, even though I have no legal ownership or rights over these files, I ask that you download them from my site, and pass the word around!
Thanks!

A remix of “He’s a Pirate” by Klaus Badelt, from Pirates of the Caribbean.
This was started a long time before Disney decided to pay Tiesto to throw some beats onto a gated version of their song, so don’t think this version has anything to do with that.
Worked a while turning it from 3/4 to 4/4.
Enjoy!

CTG Music, which most people joke stands for Cute Trance Girls. Just another place to post music, and have it reviewed and all that good stuff. Big community, forums and charts etc etc…

An alternative site to OCR, where they use a ratings system as quality control, in place of having judges.
Currently down due to people exploiting security holes, but when the rewrite is finished, VGMix3 will be awesome!

I would say that Hollow Fields is the best trance song I’ve written in terms of melody. Some day I will remake it and it’ll get snatched up by a record label. Until then, here it is in its original form.

A melodic trance track made using only the default sounds from the Reason Factory Soundbank, which I thought was a pretty neat thing to do at the time. Now that i think about it, I was probly just proud I finished it in a short amount of time, because I could make a killer track with only default sounds, so thats nothing to rave about.
The melody here is somewhat taken and somewhat the source of “So much for today” from my album Going Away. They were written at about the same time and I don’t really know which came first. They both try to convey a sense of temporary setback but with the feeling of hope. Enjoy!
